Ingredients:-
1.Methi, chopped 1/2 cup
2.Split pigeon pea boiled 1 cup(toor dal/ arhar dal)
3.Oil 2 tsp
4.cumin seeds 1 tbps
5.methi dana(fenugreek leaves) 1/4 tsp
6.Clove 2
7.Asafoetida 1 pinch
8.Ginger (grated) 2 tsp
9.Green chillis , crushed 2
10. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
11.lemon juice 1/2 tsp
12.Salt (to taste)
Method:-
- Heat oil in a non stick pan, add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds,cloves and asafoetida.
- Saute till brown. Add ginger and green chillies.
- Mix well then add the fenugreek leaves and saute for five minutes.Add little water and cover and cook for
few minutes till soft. - Add turmeric powder, lemon juice and salt mix well. then add the boiled daal and mix well again. Boil for three or four minutes and serve hot.
